Warning: This is random.

Yesterday was a no school day. The house was quiet and still and even though I’m hardly ever able to sleep in, sometimes it just feels good to be lazy in my comfy bed.

Sunday, my friend over at Lensdaisy was running the Tinkerbell half marathon, so in her honor, I ate a cinnamon scone and drank from my Tink cup. I know, I’m supportive that way. Aurora, I’m happy to eat scones for any race you run, just so you know. I was always more of a Tinkerbell girl than a princess girl. I’ll have to dig up my Tinkerbell Halloween pictures. I think I was Tink at least 2-3 times. Mom? Are you reading this? Can you go find those pictures for me please? Thanks.

I’ve found a few spare moments to create lately. Paint is my sanity. I’ll be getting my Etsy shop up and running soon. As I’m typing this, my new printer is on its way to me so I can begin to offer prints. I’m over the moon excited!

I’ve started something new. I’ve begun to use essential oils instead of medicine, caffeine, and chocolate. Ok, maybe I still eat chocolate. I cannot tell a lie! Below is my afternoon pick-me-up. I put 2 drops of each in the palm of my hand, rub my hands together and smell it, rub it into the back of my neck and apply to my temples. I use my oils daily and love a few drops of lemon or wild orange in my water everyday too. Yes, I sell them. Here is my websiteUntitled

I got my Jiggy order, and then I did a jig! I’m in love with the new lotion bars! You need to go order some now from my friends at Jiggy Headquarters!

And finally, here are three things that are perfectly normal around my house.

1. Dogs in Underarmour.

2. Star Wars action figures on Ol’ Blue Eyes desk.

3. And afternoon tea so I can keep my sanity.

Love it. All of it. Especially the dog in underarmour and your paintings.
    But, all of it, really.
Oh, the EOs. As soon as business picks back up I am going to order some. Can’t wait!

  2. Bea Arreola says:

Great post, Kelly! I’m going to have to talk to you about some Essential Oils soon. Your paintings are beautiful, as usual 🙂 Very interesting blog!

I hope you enjoyed that scone! I sure could have eaten a dozen after running 13.1 miles! I adore your random post and thank you for thinking of me. I can’t wait to learn more about your oils and etsy shop! Woo hoo Kelly!
