While we were in Cali, we had to meet up with my friend Sally. We’ve been photography buddies through the internets for a few years now. Sally is an amazing photographer and designer and probably has many other ninja skills I still don’t know about. Go check out her website and then come back here. She is amazing and even better and sweeter in person. I’ll wait…
We first enjoyed some fish and shrimp tacos from Ricky’s Tacos. I’m sorry I have no photos to share with you because we all scarfed them down before you can say the word taco. Seriously, they were THAT GOOD! Then we jumped in the car and headed over to Wacko, which is a store that is, well… wacko. They have a little bit of everything there.
Then we headed to a very secret location (do you hear the sarcasm in my voice?) and we explored the bat caves where they filmed Batman. Let me just say that when there’s a little hike involved, it’s always a competition between brothers to see who can get there first.
My punks crawled all over the place. Half the time we didn’t even know where they were, they just kept doing mischievous things to let us know they were everywhere.
After our little adventure, we went to to the Mann Chinese Theater but we didn’t stay long. I took one photo and then we left. We parted ways with Sally for the day and headed up to the observatory.
We messed around and took in the views and got our observatory edjumacation. The views were hazy, but spectacular!
