On Mother’s Day we woke up, went to church, and then had lunch with my ‘rents. Then we came home, took a few pictures on our back patio of me with the boys. Their attention span for this was about three minutes, so we changed clothes and went antiquing.

Antiquing is always a fun time for our family. We just love pilfering through random stuff and just being silly.

My youngest walked up to this rotary phone and said “Wait, how to you use this?” My husband gave him a rotary phone tutorial. See, antiquing is educational.

My youngest gravitates to old tennis rackets and guitars. Always. Without fail.

My oldest gravitates toward hats and metal boxes. Both of them always try to get me to buy them a sword too. Um, no.

“Hey mom, this would be perfect for the back of my truck.”

I got an old pyrex set, and my youngest got an old tennis racket which he said was very difficult and heavy to play with and he’s very thankful for his Babolat racket.

Then we came across this little lady and she sucked us right into an art gallery.

She quickly had a strong love for my youngest.

The art gallery was fascinating and I loved looking at the various works in there. Then we loaded back up in the car and my beloved decided we all needed a cupcake.

And then we came home and tried round two of the pictures and… well… you already know how that went.
